I like where this is going. Swamp Thing seems to be getting a major push from DC being a key player in Brightest Day and now getting none other than Snyder.

I must admit I had never read an Iron Fist story before.
What an idiot I am.
This was a great read. We see Danny Rand meet an old Iron Fist (Orson Randall) that came before him. This is the Iron Fist that would train Dan’s father and who is also a bit of an opiate addict. He is used as a tool to reveal to the reader what the Iron Fist really means and what the state of affairs is for Danny Rand. The Iron Fist is very much like a mystical “Phantom” legacy type thing that has been in place for generations and they are the representatives of one of the seven capitals of heaven. Orson Randall has fallen out of favour with them for refusing to be a weapon due to some traumatic war experiences which leads him to kill another one of the Immortal Weapons representative of one of the capitals of heaven. Rand industries is under a hostile take over from Hydra and Luke Cage with the Heroes for Hire try to hold the fort down. Mother Crane uses Davos, another Immortal Weapon son of Lei Kung, the Thunderer, to get revenge on Iron Fist. Davos succeeds in killing Orson, but retreats after fighting Danny warning of a fight under a more controlled environment soon. Lei Kung and Yu-ti appear requesting Danny to join them for the tournament of Immortal Weapons is about to begin. Danny leaves the scene as Luke Cage and the rest see him pursue his destiny. End of the First Chapter.
I personally loved it. Great art and the ammount of Kung-Fu lore is there with a lot of depth.
